These handy Bon Pens allow for very accurate flux dispensing on the work area, while eliminating dripping and flooding, making it irreplaceable for every SMD-workplace. CA-102 - The replacement cartridge:
The CA-102 is the empty cartridge for all Bonpens as a replacement. Each has a 7 ccm volume.

The BON-102A set includes one piece from each different Bonpen. It allows the user to try all variations and find which type(s) fits the best to the actual application.

Are you using wet sponges or metal sponges to clean your soldering tips?
It is proven that such temperature shocks slowely, but surely crack the coating surface of soldering tips. The temperature drop can be even 50 – 100°C and such circumstance can lead into instable soldering temperature. And finally such temperature shocks reduces the life expectance of soldering tips remarkably.
Metal sponges scratch the fine surface of soldering tips which also reduces the life expectance.
Bonkote round stainless steel bars and the smooth high temperature rubber can save considerably on your soldering tip life by avoiding scratches and high temperature drops.
